Forex win rate calculator
Calculate your winning, losing, and breakeven trade percentages. Then use the result as one part of a larger review that includes risk-to-reward, average win, average loss, and execution quality.
How the calculation works
Win rate: winning trades divided by total closed trades, multiplied by 100.
Total closed trades: winners, losers, and breakeven trades combined. A larger, consistent sample usually gives a more useful picture than a few recent outcomes.
Win rate is descriptive, not predictive. It should not be used to justify increasing risk or changing a working plan after a small sample.
Your win-rate summary
Use the result in context
A 60% win rate can still produce poor results if the average loss is much larger than the average win. A 40% win rate can be workable when the strategy’s average winner is larger than its controlled losses.
Review the number beside risk-to-reward, expectancy, position size, setup quality, and whether each trade followed the plan. Those details are what turn a percentage into a useful lesson.
