Results from the Business Outlook Survey and the Business Leaders’ Pulse indicate that firms’ sentiment has deteriorated. Domestic sales outlooks have weakened amid heightened geopolitical uncertainty and elevated costs related to fuel, while export outlooks have improved because of stronger demand for commodities.
